In 2003 Eric began working for BGA, a small 2 person firm that focused on residential and small commercial building design. Many of the clients worked exclusively with Eric. By late 2006, Eric and his superior commissioned over 100 projects .

In 2007 he began working at Ford and Earl where he assisted in the design of multi-billion dollar projects for international clients. One such project was the design of an opera theater for a convention center in Doha, Qatar. Some of his innovative solutions impressed Ford and Earl's partner firm Yamasaki, who had been designing the rest of the project, and they promoted Eric to their team.
At the time Eric was acquired by Yamasaki, the company was jeopardy of losing the convention center project. The firm needed to regain their client's confidence in order to renew their contract. Eric and several colleagues worked cooperatively on a presentation which impressed their client, the Royal Family of Qatar, and the contract was renewed.

While employed by Yamasaki, Eric worked on design competitions that awarded more projects for the firm. Some of these projects included The International Bank of Qatar, The City of Lusail in Qatar, The Yerevan City Center project in Armenia, New Cairo City in Egypt, and the Masdar Initiative in the U.A.E.- designed to be the world’s first zero energy city.

In 2009 Eric formed Etesch Designs, a company that provides design solutions to architectural firms and other clients. During this time he acquired German citizenship in addition to his US citizenship, giving him the flexibility to exercise his practice domestically and internationally across the European Union without the need for a work visa.

In 2014 Eric formed Lorado Capital, an investment firm that caters to private clients and small institutions. Lorado conducts market research, seeks out undervalued assets, and invests in financial securities using investment principles that were developed after analyzing thousands of years of combined financial market data and are encoded as an algorithm that oversees all investment decisions. The firm has been successful in raising several million in new client accounts.

Eric has also extended his interests and skills to various fields outside his degree. These include:

-Art dealing, public relations, and advertising
-The feasibility and development of reusable rockets for multi-planetary transportation, and colonization
-Research and development of high speed hyperloop transit
-Development and construction of cost effective boring technology hardware
-Creating a fleet of electric vehicles to lend to the general public
-Monitoring storm development using aerial time lapse filmography Meteorological sciences
Eric has a Masters Degree in the Science of Architecture.

He has contributed to the development of several world renown architectural projects and is responsible for securing several million in client investments.
Eric is in his 14th year in the field of Architecture and 4th year in the field of finance. He graduated with honors two years ahead of schedule from Lawrence Technological University. During his studies, he won the Oscar and Lynn Freimann Scholarship Competition, was awarded the Henry Ford Grant, the Michigan GPA Grant, and the McClure scholarship. In 2002, Eric and two of his colleagues won a competition to design a sustainable LEED platinum rated chemistry building at George Washington University in Washington DC.
